Chiastolite is such a unique stone. These lovely pieces are chunky slices rather than rounded tumbles. They are a great size to carry about in your pocket or place under your pillow.

Chiastolite is a wonderful stone for protecting one’s Aura and Chakras as it has a high vibration. It is especially beneficial for the Root Chakra and assists with bonding your energies to Mother Earth. Chiastolite can invoke positivity, inner peace, and clarity, making this an excellent stone for meditating with. Chiastolite can improve one’s awareness to self and others close to you.

Australian Chiastolite is also called the Cross Stone, because of the inclusions of black Graphite and Carbon which form into the cross you can see in the crystal. It is a kind of Andalusite, an aluminium nesosilicate mineral, it is rare.

It is interesting that even though the cross is incorporated throughout all of these stones, you can only see it when this crystal is sliced into pieces.

It is understood that Native Americans would have this stone with them during ceremonies as they believed it would protect them.
