The uses for Rose Quartz are nearly as long as its history. It is said to be an aphrodisiac within romantic relationships, help eliminate disagreements, block nightmares, and give happy dreams, help heal emotional wounds, bring calm and self-love and so, so much more.

Early civilizations used to call rose quartz, pink quartz, or hyaline quartz. The name rose quartz came from the Greek word “hyalos” meaning glass.

Legends suggests that Aphrodite’s blood-stained on white quartz when she cut herself on a thorny bush to save her love Adonis from Are’s war. Zeus brought Adonis back from war out of empathy and made the meaning of rose quartz, love rekindled or renewed.

In another Greek story, Cupid and Eros brought the rose quartz to humans to sow love and hope.
