As Selenite is an extremely high vibrating crystal it is an exceptional crystal to create an Athame with. It can assist you to open your crown chakra to better connect you with your spirit guides.

Satin Spar Selenite is a powerful, yet soothing stone. It can enrich your mind, body vibrations. It gives clarity which can enhance your ability to make important decisions.

*Please Note: Satin Spar is commonly sold as, and referred to as Selenite, which is why we have listed it as such. Both crystals are part of the Gypsum family and have very similar properties. However, Satin Spar is pearly/frosty, easier to carve and obtain, whilst Selenite is clear and rarer to source.

Selenite is considered a superb crystal for meditation as it brings about tranquillity and helps you feel calm. Holding it in your hand will assist in removing any negative energy from your body. Selenite eliminates energy blocks, from both the physical and etheric bodies. It is excellent for cleansing and charging other crystals and stones.

Selenite continuously recharges itself, so you do not need to cleanse it. However if you feel you would like to, it is best to smudge it with Sage or Palo Santo smoke.
